With over 6 years of experience working in substance abuse and mental health care across all levels of care, my career has been dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. My journey began with a passion for helping people find a new way of life, and it has since become my life’s work.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in various capacities within the field of recovery, from residential treatment facilities to outpatient programs. My role has encompassed everything from direct client care to program development and community outreach. My approach to helping others is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to see individuals thrive. I am committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those struggling with addiction and mental health challenges.

As I continue on this journey, my goal remains unchanged: to inspire hope, promote healing, and empower individuals to live their best lives. Help maintain healthy routines, attend medical appointments, monitor medications, practice mindfulness, navigate peer support meetings, and provide vocational coaching. Assist in travel to and from treatment and accompany in high-risk events. I also work on enhancing community integration and interpersonal skills, and managing time and stress.

Health Information Coordinator

Provide support to staff and oversee the HIM Department by assisting with monitoring and maintaining complete Health Records of all persons served. Ensures professional contact with all levels of staff and stakeholders, including persons served, and families. Report to the Administrator or designee, and works closely with the Director of Nursing, Program Director/Clinical Director, and other department heads.

• Maintain current policy and procedures and job descriptions for the Health Information Department.
• Quality/Quantity Monitoring/Auditing process.

Behavioral Health Technician

Worked with a team of healthcare professionals to support the treatment of clients with drug addiction, alcoholism, or other behaviors that interfere with their quality of life. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring residents, administering medications, transportation clients to appointments and/or twelve step support groups, crisis prevention and de-escalation, and conducting assessments, such as intake assessments, assessments of medical necessity, and suicide risk assessments.

Job duties include, but not limited to, hiring, scheduling, group scheduling, maintenance needs of facility, direct contact with program director and CEO, direct contact with sober living managers, admissions, and audits of Kipu, payroll, and HR paperwork for new hires. Coordinating transportation to and from facility.

• Oversee accurate record keeping of treatment services.
• Responsible for all office supplies; to include furniture to cleaning supplies. Maintain inventory of office supplies and records of purchase, assignments, repairs and
replacement.
